Don’t Look Back

Don’t Look Back. People change and the factors that make us change are internal and produced by age, maturity, learning and experiences. But there are also external changes in our environment and circumstances around us. These external changes also produce internal changes in us, because we need to adapt to new external conditions.

The problem is that sometimes we get anchored in the past, that we don’t accept today changes, we don’t make the internal adjustments necessary to adapt and go through life looking back. This attitude takes away the flexibility to adapt to new circumstances.

What is the solution? Don’t look back. Leave behind your past that keeps you from moving forward and progressing. Learn to accept the changes because they bring advancement opportunities that are lost when you don’t accept them. Talking about leaving the past behind, Jesus said: Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God. Luke 9:62

Today you have the opportunity to decide. You can stay anchored in the past or weigh anchor and depart forcefully forward, without looking back.
